the story
I spent a lot of time when I was younger in Tokyo's rich, diverse food culture, and was inspired by the degree of creativity and quality. Now based back in Ireland, I'm passionate about bringing new things to the Irish and international food scene.
Spoond is a uniquely thick, creamy and very chocolatey hot chocolate. Based on the European style, it's thicker than the more commonly found American style.
Spoond was launched in 2021, and won a Gold Blas na hÉireann a few months later! Hope you enjoy it.
